There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.

A year at our school

Solar Boat Challenge

Students designed, built and raced their solar boats and cars against each other and other schools - to find the fastest designs to take to the Sydney Solar Challenge.

Fundraiser in the Park

A huge thank you to all those who contributed time, money, eggs or positive communications towards our annual Fundraiser in the Park.

It was a glorious morning of weather and one where plenty of people turned up to taste our offerings of baked goods and bacon and egg rolls.

We managed to take just over $1000.00 for the ongoing sponsorship of children in Africa.

This sponsorship reflects our school motto of ‘Small School – Big Heart’.

Cross Country Regional Championships

Cillian and Hanno competed in the Regional Carnival at Cambewarra near Nowra on Friday 12 June.

Both boys put in a great effort, with Cillian finishing in 43rd place and Hanno in 63rd - Well done!

Stage 2 and 3 Bournda camps

The Stage 2 and 3 Bournda camps were a pleasure to be a part of.

The students were well behaved, supportive and tolerant of each other and showed persistence, resilience and determination.

State Swimming Championships

Our team of Golda, Cillian, Lorenzo and Ethan headed up to the Olympic Swimming Pool at Homebush in Sydney for the State Swimming Carnival.

They swam in the second heat and were a creditable fourth, finishing 13th overall.

A fantastic effort and a reward for all the hard work students and parents put into improving their swimming abilities.

Book Week

Students enjoy coming to school dressed as their favourite book character. This year's theme was Book an Adventure.

ANZAC Day Commemoration

Students marched at both local ceremonies in support of the ANZAC Day commemorations.

Team Erin win at Boccia

The Quaama Public School Boccia Team, consisting of Erin, Tyson, Ella, Rubee, and Lucy, were five students out of over 500 NSW public school students attending in various regions, in this year’s Boccia tournament.

The students had a great day out, meeting and competing with a cheery and positive bunch of south-east students and their support staff.
