There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.

A year at our school

Farewell to Mayumi

After over a decade of sharing the Japanese language, culture and delicious food with the students of Quaama PS, Mayumi is retiring at the conclusion of this year and we will miss her.

Solar Boat Challenge

Students designed, built and raced their solar boats and cars against each other and other schools - to find the fastest designs to take to the Sydney Solar Challenge.

Athletic Success

Braedyn has qualifed for the State Athletics Carnival, next term in Sydney, for High Jump. Braedyn is having a truly amazing year on the sporting field, backing up his great efforts in swimming, cross country and Rugby League earlier in the year.

NAIDOC Week Celebrations

Students in Years 2 to 6 had a terrific time celebrating NAIDOC Week at the beautiful Jigamy Farm in Eden.

This special experience deepened our understanding and appreciation of Aboriginal culture and history and we thank all involved for making it such a meaningful event.

Zone Cross Country Carnival Win

Our team of 9 students, representing over a quarter of our eligible enrolment, came to Wolumla with determination and persistence.

All of these students excelled. Ari qualified for Regional level with a 3rd place. Braedyn managed a very competitive 5th in the same race. All the other students scored highly with all of them running strongly up the long hill. Their practice paid off with these strong results.

For the first time since the start of the Small Schools Cross Country Carnival Shield, this team of amazing students won it for Quaama PS.

Book Week

Students enjoy coming to school dressed as their favourite book character. This year's theme was Book an Adventure.

Team Erin win at Boccia

The Quaama Public School Boccia Team, consisting of Erin, Tyson, Kylah, Maddison, and Lucy, were five students out of over 500 NSW public school students attending in various regions, in this year’s Boccia tournament.

The students had a great day out, meeting and competing with a cheery and positive bunch of south-east students and their support staff.
