The school was founded in 1877 and has provided continuous service for over 120 years. The school serves a diverse local community that is actively involved in all aspects of school life. The school buildings are a combination of new and recently renovated older style buildings blended into a charming rural setting. The site covers four hectares and includes two playing fields and a multi purpose court area. An undercover and landscaped assembly area is also an attractive feature of the school. The school boasts a new computer and technology centre with full internet capability. Quaama has a comprehensive library. Quaama aims to provide a caring and supportive environment in which children learn, create and express themselves in positive learning situations. Quaama aims to focus on the individual and to cater for the individual needs of it students so that everyone can reach their personal potential both academically and socially.
