Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our Principal

I arrived at Quaama PS, the ‘Small School with a Big Heart,’ at the beginning of Term 1 2020 to a warm welcome. Small schools definitely have something special about them and it has been my good fortune to have been appointed here as the Principal.

Small schools provide students, families and staff an opportunity to participate, grow and enjoy life in a relaxed and supportive environment.

We have a strong focus on positivity and student wellbeing at Quaama and understand the importance of individualising learning programs to support students.

SCHOOL MISSION

QPS fosters a community of respect where people feel connected and safe. A strong sense of wellbeing is prioritised through a focus on positivity and delivery of practices tailored to meet each individual's needs.

STAFF PURPOSE

Create and implement individualised learning programs to support students to successfully navigate and build upon the challenges of school life. Where fun is a vital ingredient to engaging and supporting all students in their learning each day.
