ANZAC Day

lettering lEST WE FORGET - ANZAC DAY sillouette of a soldier wearing a slouch hat and head bowed on a sunset background. A red poppy is in the place of the "o" in "forget"

This year Anzac Day falls in the holidays. We would still strongly encourage as many students as possible to attend the Quaama and Cobargo ceremonies.

The students gather at the school at 9:15 ready to march to the War Memorial and afterwards the students are invited to march in the district ceremony at Cobargo. All students have been learning two songs 'We'll meet again' and "Can you hear Australia's heroes marching?' which are performed by the combined students of Cobargo and Quaama schools..
